| Properties: | Greenish yellow. It is orange powder and insoluble in water and ethanol. It is violet in alkaline sodium hydrosulfite reducing solution but becomes dark orange in acidic sodium hydrosulfite reducing solution. In concentrated sulfuric acid it is yellow. Application: It is mainly used for the monochrome printing of cotton, silk, towel and bed sheet and also used for the dyeing and printing of mucilage glue, polyester/cotton and vinylon/cotton blended fabrics. It can be used for dyeing papers. | ||
