Yellowish Orange. Yellow powder. And slightly soluble in o-chlorophenol and pyridine . And not soluted in alcohol  and  acetone  chloroform and toluene . And in the concentrated sulfuric acid  is reddish brown . And in dilute solution , there is yellow precipitation. And in alkaline reduction leuco is dark brown , and in acid reduction leuco is yellow. And it has slightly light brittle.

Application: It is mainly used for dyeing cotton by jigging and exhaust dyeing.  It can be used for direct dyeing . And it has dull shade when it is dyeing vinlyon and has good appetency and fastness when dyeing silk. Sometimes it can be used for dyeing paper.
